I'd like to tell you some words about Moscow.
Moscow is the capital of Russian Federation. It is a very big and beautiful city. The population of Moscow is about 10 million people.
Moscow is one of the oldest Russian cities. It was founded in 1147 by Prince Yuriy DOlgorukiy. You can see a monument to Yuriy Dolgorukiy in Tverskaya Street.
Moscow is industrial, cultural and political centre of the country. There are many places of interest in the capital.
They say that the Kremlin is the heart of Moscow. First the Kremlin was built of white stone. During the reign of Ivan III its walls became red.
There is a monument to Minin and Pozharskiy in Red Square. Besides, here you can see St. Basil's Cathedral, that was built in memory of the victory over Kazan.
